Muebles AZOR, is a company founded in 1983, which is dedicated to the manufacture of Home furniture. In our origins, we were specialized in youth and marriage dormitories, but thanks to our vision of the future, the company has been expanding its market. At present, our range of products covers almost all the home market: cabinets, auxiliary furniture, children's bedrooms, children's bedrooms and CONTRACT projects.

This expansion project was possible thanks to a growth in the size of the company, currently more than 100,000 m2 are those that occupy our facilities. In addition, we have the latest technological advances and we carry out strict quality controls. All this combined with excellent customer service means that today we are positioned as a leading company in the sector and we can offer many advantages, including a product with a great value for money.

In addition, the company tries to collaborate and reduce the negative implications of manufacturing on the environment, we work together companies for the use of renewable energy and all our suppliers have certificates of sustainable forest management.

CHAIN OF CUSTODY POLICY

Currently, our range of products covers almost the entire home market: wardrobes, auxiliary furniture, youth bedrooms, children's bedrooms and custom CONTRACT projects.

At Muebles AZOR, all our administration and management encompasses a set of practices that pursue a balance between the economic, social and environmental dimensions.

It should be noted in this regard that the company tries to collaborate and reduce the negative implications of manufacturing on the environment, we collaborate with companies for the use of renewable energy and all our suppliers have sustainable forest management certificates.

Therefore, given our activity as consumers and distributors of materials of forest origin, we have developed and implemented the Chain of Custody System, supported by the guidelines of the reference standard, with the basic purpose of avoiding the trade and purchase of forest materials of the following categories:

  • Illegally extracted wood.
  • Wood extracted in violation of traditional and civil rights.
  • Wood harvested in forests whose high conservation values are threatened by management activities.
  • Wood harvested in forests that are being converted into plantations or non-forest uses.
  • Wood from forests in which genetically modified trees are planted.

    MUEBLES AZOR handles forest materials from ecologically controlled and reforested forests. The origin of these forests has been inspected and evaluated to comply with the strict ecological, social and economic demands of the national and international market; To this end, we have adopted the guidelines of the Chain of Custody Standards as requirements, in search of a tool to promote forest conservation, maintenance and improvement of forest biodiversity, as a fundamental pillar to promote responsible forest management among our suppliers and at the same time respect for workers' rights.

    Consequently, MUEBLES AZOR is committed to avoiding any type of direct or indirect relationship with activities such as:

  • Illegal trade in wood or derived products,
  • Violation of human or traditional rights in forestry operations,
  • Destruction of high conservation values,
  • Conversion of natural forests into plantations or other uses,
  • Introduction of genetically modified organisms in forest management,
  • Violation of ILO Conventions and social, safety and health requirements at work,
  • Child exploitation,
  • Discrimination of workers in any way,
  • Right to freedom of association and collective bargaining. ? Forced labor.
